I made a custom signin form using javascript and ajax to check for
duplicated user/wrong username-password combination.The ajax request I made
is like this
$.ajax({
url:'../default/signin.html',
type:'POST',
data:{
username:username,
password:password,
email:email
},
success:function (errorCode) { //recieve the error code from default.py
if( errorCode ==0){ //print error message,stop the submit page
}else{ //redirect to user's page
}
});
The ajax sends request to the same page,then the deafult/(signin)function will
check database for match usn/pssw and return back the error code.
That was my original approach but I couldn't return back the value to the ajax
request.Is there anyway to do it?
Please excuse the weird text formatting,I copied them directly from the
development console.
