You could use:
S = lambda filename: URL(r=request, c='static', f=filename)
and put this config in routes.py:
routes_out = (
('/myapp/static/(?P<filename>[A-Za-z_.-]+)',
'http://static.your-domain.tld/\g<filename>'),
)
And when you use S('blabla') you'll get
'http://static.your-domain.tld/blabla'. If you want to disable it
(i.e., return '/yourapp/static/blabla') you could disable routes.py
(or comment that line in routes_out).
