Sounds like there may be a problem with Tcl/Tk in 11.04: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/compiz/+bug/743615 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/709461) People are reporting that git-gui is also failing, which is going to be a real issue for 11.04 adoption IMO.
