I do not like it so much, I hate superfish menu and gray colors. So, I have my own boilerplate which I use to bootstrat every web2py project I work.
Welcome app is useful just for people to know that web2py is running well. But the problem is when too much people use it without styling. I think it should be cleaner, no layout needed.
