Agreed. No need for any policy IMHO.  I'm not by nature a follower of any 
philosophy or religion, but I'm not bothered by anyone's signature unless it 
contains an ad hominem attack and/or a blanket attack on a specific group of 
people.  And I've not seen any such signature on this list.
