Ths also solved another problem I had with the query-widget which offered searchable fields which were not displayed and then the query ended in an 'invalid query' error when they were used. I can think of situations where one does not want all fields to be searchable and even less displayed. As Anthony suggested it will be advantageous if one can clearly specify which fields should show up in the grid and which can be searched.
