If you want us to help you, please provide more information.  Did you click
on the url provided by the 'Internal error' mesage?  If so what did the
ticket tell you?

There is a script that comes with Ubuntu which can install web2py with all
the necessary ubuntu packages and configure it to work with Apache.  Did
you try that?
