I'm at work atm, so I can't provide specifics from my environment. It is extremely similar to the following
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8857953/why-does-web2py-crash-for-me-upon-startup Now that I've had some time to sleep on the issue, the only thing I can think of is that SQLite didn't show up in "Database drivers available" even though I'm certain I have it installed, as I've played around with the command line a bit. Could it be that the 1.99.7 source using SQLite as a default and failing if it's not detecting it setup correctly? I'll try pulling down the trunk when I get home later and see if that fixes anything as well.
