We have a bunch of sites (around 40-50 now) on various servers and we want to
be able to 'mirror' some of these sites and
somewhat 'manage' traffic to them (so that requests from Asia get routed to
Singapore servers, etc.). We don't actually 'own'
a box anywhere and don't really want to ever see one, but if we HAVE to, there
is a possibility to co-locate a server with a
customer here in Jakarta.
At the same time we want to create a virtual 'network office' where all data of
all servers are 'kept' and 'tracked' and through
which we give various levels of access to the sites and files and passwords,
etc. to free-lancers and other online cooperators.
Administration (online) of the various email accounts for the various domains
is part of it too.
The person we're looking for will first come up with a strategy and plan to
tackle this and then implement it. We're hoping to
find someone to do this for us from his own 'Net access (we dont operate an
office and don't want to either) on a
contract basis starting with maybe 10 hours per week - you'd need to be
'available' by email once a day at least. to deal with
set-up requests, etc. You'll probably need good NT experience, good UNIX
experience, some webmastering skills would
be useful, it'd help if you knew ColdFusion - or .asp, online database
publishing would be needed,. We can make the
databases if needed.
