Dave, may I suggest that lib version requirements to consider Fedora9? I mean can we loose the requirements, or use OS specific one so FC9 just needs 2.4?
Sure. I'd suggest filing a bug on <https://bugs.webkit.org/> with a patch for review. I don't use the Linux port of WebKit--was just trying to help people get through their local build errors. Those who using autoconf/autogen.sh/configure.ac will need to review any changes before they're committed anyway.
