It is possible. Weblocks only covered with translation functions but there is no translation backend in it. Gettext is translation backend. At this moment it is easy for me to use own translation backend. When most translation work will be done and code will be stable it will be possible to include translation backend in weblocks and to add cl-gettext as other backend. For me it is not necessary yet but I'll look closer at gettext sometime and maybe will use it.
