Hi Lachlan

I embed the apple frameworks also, the ones i use increase app size by about 10MB. The db's i work with are upwards of 20GB so it's really not a big impact. when i update i tend to rsync so the transfer of the data for installing new apps is kept to a minimum as well.
in addition, using wolips makes the process so damn simple.

Hi there,

seeing as WO 5.4 is seemingly just 'round the corner, and it *may* break things I was wondering if anyone has thought through (or is already) setting up WO frameworks so that differing versions can co- exist on the same machine.

i.e., setting up multiple NEXT_ROOTs?

Embedding the entire framework tree in each application is of course an option, but a hefty one that would be nice to avoid.

Any thoughts?
