I got Linux servers runing WO 5.3, on each there is WO installed twice because I got 2 differents "client", each got is own IP / DNS name , apache webserver, different applications (using different database). I just set different users for running the different daemons. The users under witch WebObjects proceses are running have differents NEXT_ROOTs and have differents ports (one runs wotaskd on 1085 the other on 1090) and ports range for application. Basicly you can run all under the same user, having the same apache (if the adaptor doesn't change), same java (if it still 1.4.2) but you just have to start wotaskd/javamonitor on differents ports with a different NEXT_ROOT. Does anyone got information of the WO 5.4 ? what's changing, what's new ...
