Hi all,
I'm trying to deploy on a freshly installed machine. 10.4 (client,
not server),
Client, eh? Did you configure Apache?
WO 5.3.3, Java 1.5, same old same old. I've been running same
installations in the company LAN for a while now. So, wotaskd is
running, I build the app on that machine, deploy it thorough
JavaMonitor, which says the app is running. I get the app's startup
logs, they show nothing unusual. However, when I try to connect to
the app (http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/WebObjects/AppName.woa/1 for
example) I get a:
Not Found
The requested URL /cgi-bin/WebObjects/AppName.woa/1 was not found on
this server...
...
I get the same message if I launch the app from cmd line and try to
connect that way. Only direct connect works.
I'm guessing that Apache is not forwarding requests, but am clueless
as to why. I compared /Sys/Lib/WebObjects/Adaptors/Apache/
apache.conf with the one on one of the machines that deploy OK and
it's identical.
Any pointers?
/etc/httpd/httpd.conf is where the problem is. Diff that against a
machine that works.
