So true.

WO (like most other Enterprise Web development environments) is not for "business developers" or "newbies". It is an industrial strength environment that requires you to be knowledgeable of all (and expert in most) of the technologies Anjo mentioned (plus some).

Even then you have to spend a long time learning the "untold secrets" of the framework and tools. Tools like WOBuilder, EOModeler, and other tools lead such experienced developers so far and then drop them off a cliff.

That said, and this is the dilemma, these tools can increase the speed at which experienced developers can evaluate and get into a new development environment.
