I had that problem and found that I had somewhere included installed frameworks on one framework and included the same stuff via project include to the application - that meant it built but didn't start.
For all it's worth: I hope the changes to the classpath management will solve most of the long standing issues that are really annoying without introducing new and unknown problems - but I trust that Mike finds a good way.
