Well for what it's worth, I think Eclipse is the worst IDE ever. I do not suffer the annoyances gladly and the only cool thing I've found is the debugger which I must admit is very complete. I finally gave up and moved to another Mac running Tiger. It is almost trivially simple to get the WO5.4 runtime installed on Tiger so you can still develop against the latest version with all of the fixes and enhancements, including generics.

Part of it may be that I stopped developing WO for a while because I had non-WO work to do like working on wxCocoa. I spent countless hours trying to get accustomed to Eclipse during the Leopard seed phase. I spent many more the past couple of weeks as I am trying to get acclimated to WO again by doing a small project for the non- profit sailing club I belong to. I finally gave up on it, punted, and "upgraded" to Tiger. Almost instantaneously I had a working app.
