Oops I responded to the wrong thread.

I can download the source from the WOLips site right? I have no problems implementing the modeler inside the existing WOLips WO editor. This would be my first project extending eclipse, is there a place where I can get started with the SDK?

I don't mind the built in WOLips editor, and at times it is very useful. I find that it is lacking an interface allowing a developer to preview and interact with a component on a visual level. Allowing a developer to dynamically link objects and their properties, or even creating html in a visual model, allowing design of the user interface without having to run the application to see the results.

WOBuilder had some issues, but it also had some very handy functions. The visual definition and adjustment of properties by dragging and linking is what I miss with WOLips.

And I think this is the most requested "feature". But I think you should try to write your stuff on both of the current Component Editor. A mixed editor like the one in Flex Builder would be great: a source editor (just like the current Component Editor) and a design editor, where you can drag&drop bindings and components. Or a component/bindings inspector at the right.

If the above functionality is available in WOLips, I have missed it. If I am incorrect in my assessment please let me know, it is possible I have missed something.

Thanks,

Don

Hi Don,

The ComponentEditor in WOLips, which I love BTW, is the current replacement (replacement HTML/WOD/WOO editor functionality, not a 'clone' of WOBuilder). If you are talking about an opensource clone of WOBuilder, please try and ensure that it integrates with WOLips/Eclipse tools if you can.

Hello;

I am working on a WOBuilder replacement for WOLips. I was wondering if anyone is working on this already so there are not multiple persons creating the same type of utility.
