ok... So I added another gig of ram (2 gigs total) and launch eclipse.... It stalls just before completing the opening of the workspace. I checked the activity monitor and it reports that eclipse is not responding. then after 2-3 full minutes it clears and continues opening the workspace and I can work...
This is a new install of eclipse on os x 10.5.2. any ideas... I don't want to reinstall the system but if that is next, so be it.
