Hi! Missinformation.
.Mac has been replaced by me.com, so it was naturally dropped (the entire site was dropped, not WO!).
Mobile.me is fully WO on the backend. The front end uses SproutsCore to support the new desktop-like behaviours, and calls WO via RPC calls.
Everything is OK, the world is not collapsing (although it may have some concurrency problems once in a while).
