See, we often sold it as a Java application server. One time we sold
it as our development framework of choice for J2EE app servers.
Usually yes. But some of them want to do support of the apps on
their own after the hulk is implemented. So they ask for technology
before you get the job.
The problem with that normally is, that they say they want to do that,
but in 99,9% they don't. Most of the problems I had with large
principles were because of the Dilbert principle. Not because they
really do something, but they are afraid of being not able to do
something.
Which is pretty ridiculous because if your apps are complex enough,
they couldn't do anything in a reasonable time whether they know the
technology or not. If they would, they wouldn't ask you.
The hard part is to make them understand that ... ;-)
