So out of curiosity, is it feasible to webcast WOWODC 2009? And if it is, how much interest is there around the world in such a webcast?

+1

I would probably be able to secure some funds to support it, and if enough people join in, perhaps we can make it happen? I know I would be one very happy E-attendant :-).

Just checking the waters...

Timezone differences was the first thing I thought of.

That'll only be a problem for those who participate in a live webcast.

Another alternative is to have the presenters prepare packages (slides, notes, code, frameworks) so that sometime more substantial than videos might be released.

That'll be good to do anyway. However an interactive webcast would be ideal so that remote e-attenders can submit questions/feedback also :)
