I'd love it if someone could answer Gennady's question. How does the AJAX support added in WO 5.4 work? Could we have some documentation?

It works the same (literally) as Wonder's, but from a while back. The ERXAjaxSession and ERXAjaxApplication source files are probably the best available documentation. But you are going to have to re-create a massive amount of work on the Ajax components for absolutely no value to you.

As someone else said, using Wonder's Ajax != Using Wonder. Just extend ERXAjaxSession and ERXAjaxApplication and you have access to all of the components in the Wonder Ajax framework. The ERXAjaxSession and ERXAjaxApplication were created so that you could use the Ajax components without risking having Wonder drink your beer and sleep with your girlfriend.

Due to casting in Ajax framework, the components won't (I think) work with WO 5.4 without subclassing ERXAjaxSession and ERXAjaxApplication.

Hello all
I have a question. Is there a way to use AJAX in WebObjects other than
employing Wonder?
I have rather large project and in fact I would not like to move it to
using Wonder.
I use AJAX for some tasks not related to modifying already displayed
data on the page but in some cases it would be better to refresh some
regions.
I have seen some methods regarding AJAX and PageFragment's in 5.4 API
reference. But there is no documentation on this.
Could you please point me on some documentation or instructions how to
make use or these capabilities.

Gennady
