How are people persisting their Joda-Time values? I was recently
trying to configure a prototype for Joda-Time LocalDate, but the Joda-
Time classes don't have factory methods, and are declared final, as
discussed recently that last thread.
How about validation/formatters?

Until then, some of us have to figure out something to do. Maybe
we can use joda! :-)

It sounds like Joda has lots of fans. Does anyone who has worked
with it know if they have immutable data types?
