Ho ho there is a big confusion or maybe Benoit's email was confusing too. Montage Studio, the IDE is linked with GitHub.
MontageJS, the open source FW is not. You just need to install it and use a text editor and that's it. Of course you put your source code wherever you want. We use it for a while without Montage Studio.
