My steps are 0. Install Java 8 1. Install Eclipse IDE for committers 2. Install WebObjects using WOInstaller.jar 3. Install wolips plugin from jenkins.wocommunity.org 4. make sure wolips.properties is okay either by editing it directly or setting paths in the preferences dialog
Looking at building WOLips yet again for 4.5 Mars, I find myself wondering why we need a specific install of Eclipse to make the build work. It seems the only two projects with a classpath which breaks for each new Eclipse release are veogen (obsolete?) and eomodeldoc (does anyone really use that?) It would be nice if one version of WOLips worked in Eclipse 4.x. It would also be nice if step 3 could perform step 2 and 4 above. Perhaps step 3a, launch eclipse after step 3 and let wolips run the WO installation.
