After fighting my company for 6 months to buy computer upgrades, I finally won with a new Mac Pro and a Mac Book Pro - both running Mac OS X El Captain (10.11.4).
I have followed the first two chapters of Learning the Wonders (very nice, thank you), but have run into a questionable configuration. Most likely due to not having upgraded since Eclipse 3.3, Java 1.5, etc... I would like to know what configurations one would recommend in terms of: Java version, Eclipse version, WOLips version, and Wonder version. I had Java 1.8 installed but Eclipse 3.7 did not like it, and I ended up downgrading to Java 1.6. This was not good as Wonder was looking for Java 1.8. Rebuilding Wonder from scratch with Java 1.6 was troublesome, so I downloaded the binaries for Wonder 6. I ended up with a configuration that can build a HelloWorld example, but Eclipse gives weird error messages with the @Override annotations making me want to nuke the whole day's work and start over from scratch. Suggestions? Thanks in advance, David _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list. They will be ignored.
