Actually, you shouldn't have /Library & /Developer. It should be
/Local/Library & /Local/Developer.

If /Library or /Developer exists, I totally ignore them. (I'm sure whether
it's safe to delete them at this point). (true for YB or MXS)

Here is what we do: (on MXS)
Anything that needs to be shared amongst the group is put in
/Local/Applications, /Local/Library, and /Local/Developer on the server. Those
folders are then exported to client machines. Those client machines import
(nfs mount) those directories in /Network/Applications, /Network/Library, and
/Network/Developer.

We do not touch the /System folder.
