I'm developing on NT and porting onto Solaris now.

First, I compress a folder includign ProjectBuilder files.
Then I copied onto Solaris and extract it.

Like TIL article as the above,
I set environment variables on Solaris.
Then I change directory into my "WOApplicationName.woa" directory.
And type:

> make clean

then

> make

After making, you can launch your WebObjects application 
from command line on Solaris.
