It's interesting to learn Allan Saddi's opinion (http://www.saddi.com/software/news/) on these things which may be of concern for web.py and its users: 1. "did I ever mention how much I hate FastCGI? Around the time I first released flup, I had transitioned my apps from FastCGI to AJP, and I never missed FastCGI since." For this, I have the same question as Erwin. It would be interesting to see if web.py can get a performance boost (and reasons for which Allan hates FastCGI, which is unclear to me) 2. "For users of flup's SessionMiddleware, I recommend Beaker." I remember seeing recommendations to use flup's session management with web.py on this mailing list. I know nothing about Beaker but it always sounds like a good idea to me to have a complete stack ...
