Is there a standard/preferred way to have an email (or 10 emails) triggered by a user action without the user having to wait for the emails to finish sending before getting confirmation?
In the Rails world, delayed_job is often used. I know it's pretty easy to throw something together, but I'd rather not get distracted by edge cases....
