Re: Status of this, FYI...
A couple weeks ago I asked around about the feasibility of creating
this (i.e. criteria-based and automated like core-contrib-discuss is
now) and got the following insight from Auth/DB expert Alan Burlison
(paraphrasing)...
We don't store the facilitator list anywhere in the current DB; the
new auth system defines a new role of Facilitator which is exactly
the same in voting terms as Core Contributor but with a different
name, plus there can only be one Facilitator per community.
