Hey ... The user groups are indeed projects sponsored by the Advocacy CG. I keep a separate list here: http://opensolaris.org/os/community/advocacy/usergroups/ug-leaders/ We are aware the UGs clutter up the project page http://opensolaris.org/os/projects/ and that they don't really fit there logically. In fact, I did this quite intentionally. :) But after a lengthy conversation on advocacy-discuss, obviously. I had no other way to create spaces for UGs on the site given the site structure and governance design. However, as the community is re-organized under governance and as the site becomes capable of creating new collectives, we will certainly deal with this. It's absolutely on my list. It's a good problem to have, though, because the UGs are growing nicely and the current situation actually solves a previous situation. It's just an interim step, though. There are no plans currently to move the UGs to .com. Jim -- http://blogs.sun.com/jimgris _______________________________________________ website-discuss mailing list [email protected]
