brainstorm.ubuntu.com is based on an opensource php project of the  
ubuntu community. We could probably just use it with templates that  
fit our site ?
with the current .com .org split this is for me something rather  
targetted for the .com side of things, letting people float their  
comments and ideas regaring 2008.05 and what .11 should be and contain  
cause it seems like a better place than the overwhelming float of  
emails on mailing lists.
