Coincidentally we were discussing this yesterday, see http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6600865. I also assumed it was going to be an easy fix - just an update to some static text in a JSP, but when Martin looked at it it turned out to be a significant amount of work. The bug evaluation isn't visible on BOO, but to paraphrase, the "leaders" link appears in the sidebar as well as at the top of the page, and that's not static text, it is held in the database, and the string "leaders" also appears in the link paths, so the navigation mappings inside the application would also need to be changed. Finally the term "leaders" appears in 310 page titles and in 2003 page bodies in the site, each of those would have to be examined and corrected manually if necessary. We are planning to replace the current portal entirely, so we will fix it as part of that process, rather than spending resources on something that is going away anyway. -- Alan Burlison -- _______________________________________________ website-discuss mailing list [email protected]
