This is slightly behind the tentative schedule, but only by a day or three (one of which I will claim is due to public holidays in various regions).
The requirements have been amended to take into account most of the comments and suggestions made by the website-discuss subscribers, so thank you for your contributions. A brief summary of additions to the initial set of requirements (posted 20th May) is; - ability to comment on pages - internationalization and localization issues promoted to essential requirements (considered essential as the current application provides poor support for these, leading to piece-meal solutions) - content export of multiple pages promoted to conditional (distinct from pluggable content storage, which is more related to management and backup) - support for page taxonomies (namespaces, categories and page hierarchies) http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/website/wiki_requirements/ As per the Wiki Requirements page (the Evaluation Plan section) following the initial evaluation, which narrows the candidates to a manageable number, the rest of the requirements should be used to evaluation the candidates. I've posted the evaluation form to http://opensolaris.org/os/project/website/WikiEvaluationForm/ pages and will complete evaluation forms for JSPWiki (http://www.jspwiki.org/wiki/Main) and XWiki (http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome), as those are the technologies which survive selection based on the essential requirements.
