I'm running build 86. This is a fresh install that I'm just trying to update.
I've been trying the update all morning - I've tried it probably 20 or 25 times
in the last 5 hours. Currently, all I get now when I do an update is this:
# pfexec pkg image-update
http://pkg.opensolaris.org:80/: timeout
Before, I was getting HTTP 500 Internal Server Error from pkg.opensolaris.org.
Sometimes the image update would start running and downloading manifests - but
then would bomb out and say HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.
I have also taken a different build 86 box on my lunch hour today and tried to
update it at a friend's location - different ISP, different firewall - same
problem.
Wierd.
Also - just opening http://pkg.opensolaris.org/status in a browser will
occasionally work. Sometimes I will get a timeout, and then occasionally the
status page will load but will take a very long time to do so.
