Can we get an ETA? Apparently, this is a closed process so can we at least get the expectations on the fix timeline? Days? Weeks? Months?

The process isn't closed, our plans for restructuring the site have been discussed on website-discuss.

We are trying to localise the source of the issues, that's by nature an iterative process, and we need to figure out what the root causes of the problems are - I expect that process to be in the 'days' range. We are already working on this, and have made changes to the site which has already decreased the number of site restarts we were having to perform.

Some of the things we identify will be easy to implement and will take a matter of days to change, others may need significant work and the timescales will be correspondingly longer. In any case, the plan is to replace most of the current infrastructure, so the short-term actions we are taking are intended to ameliorate the most critical problems until that rollout takes place.

Hope that helps,
