I don't know if gmail in general was blacklisted, but it does appear that this one particular IP address, which is registered to Google, has been flagged by SORBS. Following the http://www.sorbs.net/lookup.shtml?74.125.83.178 link takes me to a page that says it's possible to request delisting through SORBS's support system. The page also says "Eligible for self delisting as only one spam occurance is recorded". HTH. This isn't an area of system administration I know much about.
