And when that machine goes AWOL ..all of your services goes AWOL (not
just one or two)...
I know there are systems that are set up for "traffic sharing" so there
are two mirrored servers that share the load, so if one goes down, there
is still another one. I saw these back in the early 2000's The only
problem would be to have two of the controlling traffic-sharing-routers
and if one goes down, you still have another one to do the work.
But no matter what you do, it still takes a dedicated "team" of people
to keep an eye on the servers and networked computers to keep it all
going. This is not a "set it and forget it" like some people try to
sell you.
