It's unfortunate this issue hasn't beend addressed yet, removing the content would indeed take care of it while the site makes such progress. I don't see anyone "making things happen", I see lots of excuses and stalling for an important issue that has been raised several times and is wasting everyone's time. If we don't have resources (volunteer or otherwise) to get this right, we shouldn't. What is more unproductive? All the discussion around this or just removing the offending content until something appropriate is put forward? What you are asking for is for other volunteers to fix mistakes caused by arbitrary decisions that stick around even after you ask for feedback and the issues are raised. Why do we have to keep pounding this over and over in a project that has "libre" in its name? Why ask for feedback at all if you will go with such bad decisions? I don't see how this looks "professional", as I too have to explain this contradiction to anyone I've sent to that page. I've since stopped sending anyone to libreoffice.org and use my own landing pages. Talk about spending my time in productive ways.
