hm, now that is really strange, I don't see this behaviour here, and
wouldn't have expected it either. Can you maybe have a look if this
occurs in safe mode as well?

I attached an screen clip to this email and added your name on the
"reply" so you would get it.
I used the terminal command to open into safe mode and still got the
"allow" button. I got it on the Jalbum site when I downloaded the new
Debian version. That was a few minutes before I tried the safe mode option.
I do not see any add-on or extension that might cause the need for the
"allow".
When I get some time, I will start disabling my extensions and add ons
to see if that changes anything.
I am running the Ubuntu 12.04 repository version of Firefox.
