I attached an screen clip to this email and added your name on the
"reply" so you would get it.
thanks a lot - that's indeed strange, never knew this happened without
extensions. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?
From a technical POV, I think we can't do much here. :/
Out of curiosity: If you download something e.g. at SourceForge, do
you get the same message?
Florian
I disabled all my extensions and add-ons and it still did it.
Last time I downloaded anything from them I had the same "allow" button.
It happened today when I downloaded from Jalbum. It seems to happen
most times now, where I have to download from a web site,
I just tried something to verify that it did not need the "allow".
I went to
http://www.libreoffice.org/download-more/
and went to the bottom link "Other way to download . . . ."
I choose 4.0.2 and Windows "Helppacks" and downloaded one of them.
I did not get the "allow" button "message". I just got the save/download
dialog box to select where I wanted the file to download to. The file
just downloaded properly. I have the option selected asking me where I
want to save the file that is going to be downloaded. So everything
worked fine downloaded the Windows help-pack using the "download-more"
page. That is where I normally go to download the different files
anyways. My DVD has 90 of them, main installs for the different OSs and
the various help-packs and language packs.
So something in the "main" download page and the DVD download page that
causes the "allow" button to appear.
