Hello, the LibreOffice extensions- and templates site experienced a lot of spam the last two weeks. There were about 100 to 200 new entries per day in our ticket system which we get via the forms for an account request. Because it was an exhausting situation to handle all this new tickets I decided that the sites need a new technique to fight the spam. I got some good hints from the Plone community and started working on a new form. I used another add-on with a field that presents questions to the user and looks for the right answer. I added also a hidden field to the form that had to be blank (robots tend to fill that hidden field).
The new forms are in place now and working fine.
