Because it was an exhausting situation to handle all this new tickets I decided that the sites need a new technique to fight the spam. I got some good hints from the Plone community and started working on a new form. I used another add-on with a field that presents questions to the user and looks for the right answer. I added also a hidden field to the form that had to be blank (robots tend to fill that hidden field). The new forms are in place now and working fine. I hope that will make our life a bit easier ;-)
thanks a lot for all your work! I know you do a very big chunk of that late at night and without making a big fuss out of it, but the tasks you do are extremely important and valueable to the community.
