The use of Lighttpd by Enterprise Manager shouldn't be something they have to be aware of except in very special circumstances. The key issue is that it won't affect the user's choice of the web server they manage. Why Lighttpd? The Lighttpd instance for Enterprise Manager is leaner than an Apache instance would have been.
