The main reason this came to mind is that while trying to catch up to email
I was reading through the phpPgAdmin sample conf file placement discussion.

If there is some desire to support a a2enmod-like tool on OpenSolaris
then we do need to mandate that all components dropping Apache .conf files
do so into a known location so the future tool can find them.
