I think that it's common for Lighttpd users to run the lighttpd 
executable, it's how you start lighttpd on the command line, unlike say 
Apache that has apachectl for managing the Apache httpd processes.  With 
the move to SMF control, it becomes less of a requirement but if we want 
lighttpd users to feel at home on Solaris/OpenSolaris then the lighttpd 
executable should probably be in the path.
