Sunanda Looks like, you are integrating MySQL 5.1 along with MySQL 5.0. Also, I see that MySQL client libraries are still not separated. Now, in OpenSolaris 2008.11, if a customer wants to get AMP stack, which package should SUNWphp52u-mysql depend on ? - SUNWmysql50u or SUNWmysql51u ?
IMO, your team might want to consider splitting MySQL 5.0 base package into core database server and client runtime libraries at the earliest possible. The same should also happen for MySQL 5.1 as well. Only if this is done, then a customer download amp meta cluster will get PHP 5.2 , Apache 2.2.9 and MySQL 5.1 client + server .
