It's definitely a trend, and definitely something we want to address.  
We've had face-to-face conversations on it, but haven't raised it on the 
list yet.

lighttpd and nginx are two I've some experience with.  I've seen thttpd, 
but haven't spent any time with it-- mainly because it's not even 
multiprocess.  Admittedly, if it's lighttpd style, a nice multithreaded 
kernel like OpenSolaris will do fairly well with it, but we could do 
better with one of the other light approaches.

Even though we may not be able to get it in to a package soon, we should 
document building nginx and lighttpd on Solaris.
